Hi, I’m Mary Lou — the founder and artist behind PosieNY.

Thank you for being here and for taking the time to learn more about my work. PosieNY began during my downtime as a creative outlet and quickly grew into my full-time passion. Today, it allows me to combine my love of art, design, and nature into meaningful, lasting keepsakes.

I’ve always had a creative mindset. I’m a graduate of Russell Sage Albany College with a degree in Fine Art / Photography, and in the early 2000s, I worked for ten years as a professional wedding photographer. I also have a lifelong love of interior decorating, which continues to inspire my artistic style.

Flowers have always played a special role in my life. From gardening to filling my home with fresh arrangements, I’ve always been drawn to their beauty. Preserving them allows me to capture their story and transform fleeting moments into something timeless.
