Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get my flowers to you?

You can either drop off your flowers to us, or schedule a convenient pick-up, and we’ll come to you. We make the process simple so your flowers arrive safely and ready for preservation.

Do you accept flowers from events other than from weddings?

Yes! We accept flowers from any special occasion!

Do you color correct the flowers after pressing?

No, we do not. Our floral preservation process is completely natural. While your flowers are meticulously cared for during pressing, some color change is expected. Over time, they will develop a soft, vintage appearance that reflects their natural aging process.

What add-ons do you offer?

We offer framed floral monograms which make beautiful gifts allowing you to share and celebrate your preserved florals in a meaningful way.

Do you need my entire bouquet?

Yes, and for frames larger that 16x20 or multiple add-on frames sometimes we need additional flowers such as bridesmaids bouquets. The more flowers the better, so that we pick the very best for your finished piece.

When will I receive my finished piece?

Each piece is carefully pressed, reconstructed, and designed by hand—a process that takes over 20 hours to complete. Because of this detailed craftsmanship, please allow up to 24 weeks for your finished piece to be completed and ready.

How do I care for my pressed floral art?

To preserve the beauty of your pressed floral art, we recommend that you keep it out of direct sunlight and away from moisture (such as in bathrooms). With proper care, your preserved florals will remain beautiful for many years to come.

Are there any bouquets you will not accept?

We do not accept bouquets made up of a single flower variety or all-white bouquets without greenery. White blooms are especially delicate and tend to brown easily during the preservation process. Including a mix of florals and greenery allows for the best possible results and longevity of your finished piece.

Are there any flowers that are not suitable for pressing?

Yes. Some flowers are not ideal for the very flat finish required for pressed floral artwork. Blooms with high water content or very thick structures do not press well and may not produce optimal results. These include, but are not limited to, large lilies, banksia, certain succulents, wheat, and thick branches.

What do you do with the leftover flowers?

We make every effort to incorporate as many flowers from your bouquet as possible into your finished piece. In many cases, however, the size of the design does not allow for every individual stem to be included. If you would like any remaining flowers returned with your completed artwork, we are happy to accommodate that request. Please let us know when submitting your order.
